L.A. Mayor Villaraigosa to visit occupied Palestine

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa will be leading a group of Jews and
city officials on a 7 day trip to occupied Palestine to meet
with Zionist leaders. According to city government spokesman
Matt Szabo, the purpose of the trip is, among other things, to learn
from the Zionists about "security and counter-terrorism tactics."
According to Szabo, the trip consisting of approximately 21 persons, scheduled from June 11 through June 18, will be paid by the mayor's travel budget and by other city departments. The delegation includes 12 Jews who are not city officials. Among these twelve is the Rabbi Marvin Hier of the Simon Weaselthal Center of Los Angeles. Two city councilmen who represent predominantly Jewish districts are scheduled to be on the trip. They are City Councilmen Jack Weiss and Dennis Zine.
Mayor Villaraigosa has been ordered by L.A, based Zionists to sign an
agreement in Tel Aviv to bring paid "experts" from the Ben Gurion
International Airport to review security at Los Angeles International
Airport and other city-owned airports. This is very dangerous for
the City of Los Angeles since Zionists have been implicated in a number of
terrorist acts around the world including the attempted bombing of
the Mexican Congress in San Lazaro on October 10, 2001 and in the dissemination of Anthrax in the USA .
Also, the mayor has been given the mission to expand the city's relationship with the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism, which would provide training for the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). LAPD Chief William Bratton spent his first six days as Police Chief of Los Angeles in Tel Aviv, the de-facto capital of Zionist Israel. The headquarters of the Zionist spy agency MOSSAD is located in Tel Aviv. LAPD Chief Bratton is married to a prominent Jewish attorney and has very close connections with the Jewish Mayor of New York, Michael R. Bloomberg. Mayor Villaraigosa will be meeting with the Mayor of Tel Aviv Ron Huldai.
Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is also scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, President Shimon Peres, and with the so called "Zionist Iron Lady" Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni. Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is presently embroiled in a major corruption scandal for taking $150,000 under-the-table from New York-based financier Moshe Talansky. Tzipi Livni has been tapped to take over as Prime Minister if Ehud Olmert is forced to resign or put in jail.
Zionist Israel is a corrupt and illegitimate state. It was formed in 1948 through the then military might of Great Britain. The forced formation of Israel by European and Russian Zionists, with the help of the British, has displaced millions of native Palestinians. Many of these Palestinians live in exile in refugee camps in surrounding Arab countries and many more are enduring a brutal occupation on their land. It is not known if Mayor Antonio Villargairosa will be meeting with any leaders of the Palestinian resistance since the mayor's background itself parallels almost exactly those of many Palestinians.
Antonio Villaraigosa is not the mayor's real name. In high school and as a student at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) he was known as
Tony Villar. There are essentially two reason why the mayor changed his name.
The first is that as a student at UCLA he was a leader of the Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan (MEChA) an organization that believes that the Southwestern states (Aztlan) are occupied territory in a similar way as Palestine. During the early years of MEChA, many of the member were struggling with their "ethnic identities." Were they Americans or were they Mexicans? MEChA essentially chose an "in between" and defined a new ethnicity called "Chicano". Many "Mechistas" also changed their first names from English to their Spanish language equivalents, thus "Bill" became "Guillermo" and "Tony" became "Antonio". The new found identity and the fear of being called "pochos" also motivated many Mechistas to learn to speak the Spanish language. Tony essentially only spoke English but today as Antonio he can also speak Spanish fluently.

How the name Villar was changed to Villaraigosa is quite interesting. Within the Chicano subculture it became quite common for married couples to adopt a combination of the couple's last names. This was done in two ways. For example if a Esteban Chavez married a Maria Huerta, the couple would change their last name to either Chavez-Huerta or Chavezhuerta. Antonio Villar married Corina Raigosa (now divorced) and thus today the mayor is known as Antonio Villaraigosa.
The mayor's office said that during the week long visit to occupied Palestine, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa will be taken to Sderot, a Zionist settler town near the Gaza border that has faced repeated rocket attacks by the Palestinian resistance. We wonder if the mayor has enough guts to insist to also be taken inside the Gaza Strip where the Zionists are starving the Palestinians to death. We doubt it!
